the Salmon really began running in force.

Gil Leppelmeier
Greetings from Sallatunturi! Here are Merja and Gil, and their
friends Moona, Tara, Nirppu, Nelli, Maxi, and Igor.
Merja and I recently
passed our driver's test for dog sleds. Merja pointed out that this
might be useful if my driver's license is not renewed at the mandatory
test stage at age 70. ;-)

This was taken in Frankfurt in 1958. The driver of the Porshe is Joe
Williams, who was serving at that time in the Army in Germany. I'm the one in civvies, naturally and I was paying Joe a visit. I forget the name of the dog, but Joe might know.
Here's a recent photo of Yvonne & me at San Gimignano.
Those familiar with Italy will know that San Gimignano is the intact
medieval town in Tuscany where the final scenes of Tea with
Mussolini were shot.
All the best,
HUGH
